???I put a new battery in my 1976 O'Day 25. I was tickled to see the running and cabin lights worked. ;D Almost as an afterthought I switched on the 25 year old Apelco MS-108L depth sounder. The old girl began whirring smoothly! I went forward and checked the transducer. It's faint click, click, click told me it was working. ;D BUT... the little bulb in the head unit that flashes and marks the appropriate depth is burnt out. I can't get the knob off to pull the faceplate to replace the bulb. Somebody out there has to have had some experience with circa 1980 depth sounders. The knob has what looks like a tiny (really tiny!) set screw with a hex key opening on top. It is smaller than .09 mm. Is there any thing smaller? Am I on the right track? I would love to get this old depth sounder working. Thanks!
