Looking to rent or buy Catalina 27 trailer. Must be roadworthy enough to move boat several hundred miles.
Would prefer to just buy a trailer.

I have the trailer for you! Custom made, double axle trailer trailer with brakes that was set-up for an Olson 30. Never used, never been in the water!
Asking $3800.
email me for a pic.

David, finally success!!!!
After months and months of looking (over 8), I finally found a "good" trailer and I have moved my boat the 1500 miles from Maryland to Texas without a major hitch (except the $1000 in gas, hotel and misc expenses)......
I must say that finding a trailer that would work, in good condition, was an adventure in itself. This was almost worse than buying a good used car! I made several L O N G trips to look at trailers that should have been hauled to the scrap yard, but they were described as like new, very little rust ( in the bearing races), brakes work perfect (rusted to the point that the wheels won't turn anymore), new tires (in 1980), all the lights work (but never all at the same time), etc.
My advise to anyone else looking for a trailer for a larger boat? Spend the extra money and buy a new one or even better, buy the boat in the slip next to your current boat so you won't need that trailer after all. That way you can be enjoying that boat for eight more months instead of spending all your spare time driving to Florida, or Kansas, or who knows where, to look at junk trailers that someone is trying pass off as something it's not.
Now all I have to do is find someone, who knows what they are doing, to re-step my mast.
