Want to Trade for a Blue Water Sailboat.
If you're done with your boat, done with cruising, or just done with slip payments... my wife and I are gearing up to get back to cruising. We are looking for a blue water boat.
The slow economy has stalled our progress, so we thought we'd try to trade for a boat. We're willing to make a trade that will be good for us all. You'll get a good return for your boat.
What follows are our preferences:
28' - 42' LOA
Beamy monohull or Catamaran
Sloop, cutter, and/or ketch rig
Roller furling
Diesel auxiliary
Aluminum Spars
Fiberglass or steel hull and deck
Condition is relative to reasonable/fair price for the vessel
We're in the process of selling off our landlubber junk and smaller boats, and have posted our trade goods at www.iwanttoretire.us
We have the following for trade:
3 bedroom brick home
2 refurbished bedroom mobile on nice lot
1 bedroom fixer lake cabin
Aquarius 21 on trailer
Contessa 26 w/ low hour Yanmar on NICE trailer
