MY wife & I are interested in taking a vacation in this area. We have never been on the Texas Gulf coast before. We have a 26 ft sailboat we sail on a lake and on the coast near San Carlos, MX (near Gyuamas). We are ASA certified (San Diego) in bareboat & coastal cruising, I have been studying coastal navigation. We are looking for a sailboat rental between 28-34 feet that we may either day sail or cruise the coast for a week. Do you have any suggestions for us? Can you suggest any good sailboat charter sources? Thank You, picasaweb.google.com/Clipper.Marine.26.MKII.Hull.700

Sailing in Corpus is a desre my wife and I have as well, but we still need to get our ASA so we can qualify for bare boat rental. From some of the you tube videos I saw, it looks like a really nice area of the Texas coast line to be sailing from. If I can make it out this October, then I plan to be out there next Spring.

My wife and I signed up for ASA with Inland Sailing in Dallas. They seemed to have the best pricing structure and I can't wait to get my hands on the trainer's 30 ft Beneteau!
