I'm trying to eliminate any water entry around all bolt through holes and fittings, after a costly deck core repair. Upon attempting to remove and seal the lifeline stanchion bolts, I went below and discovered the hull inner liner prevents access to most of the nuts, especially outboard ones, with a wrench of any kind. I do want to reinstall fasteners by turning the nuts, not the screws, for best seal, so need room to swing the wrench. Best way to accomplish?? Carve pockets in liner for access, or something better? Hope someone out there has done it on a similar boat.
