I Never expected one of these to pop up in middle GA!
I’m pretty good finding info with Google but this one is stumping me. I picked it up with a bill of sail and no registration. No hull number indicates it’s older than 1970 and I can’t find an identifying mark on it. It must have been stored in a barn most of the time because it’s in good shape for anywhere near that age. Twin keels swing into thin boxes built in the front of the bench seats. This keeps the thingypit open and there is still plenty of storage under the seats too. That has to be a unique, identifying feature! The mast would have had stays too and not the normal gaff rig….? I need to figure out what it is to re-rig it properly. Just a few pieces, a mast and stays and the teak trim look like all that will be needed. I was told this boat is 17’ 6” but I haven’t measured it to the inch myself. Can anyone match these pictures to a known manufacturer? Are the markings on the sail ever a clue?
