So far I can find no information on this boat. There is a reasonable amount of info on the AeroCraft company and its canoes and outboard powered boats but can find nothing on this boat. It is 12 fooi 2 inch by 5 foot beam, sloop rigged with a 20 foot mast and a large jib ( for this size boat ) Would love some history. Will get some photos rigged in a bit. Attachments:

Come on Sailing Texas guys. Someone out there has to know about this boat. It sure isn't a homebuilt. Any suggestions at all to help my search would be appreciated

I did manage to solve this mystery. For the details see the iBoats thread forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=468857In brief: This boat seems to actually be the Petrel 12 designed by the famous Philip Rhodes in 1966 and built in some quantity by the Aluminum Company of Canada astro.temple.edu/~bstavis/pr/petrel.htmI assume it was distributed by AeroCraft through some deal with AlCan I almost have the entire boat stripped down to shiny bare aluminum and am still figuring out what the the new finish will be. I will be sailing with or without new paint however
