The Osprey dinghy owners of North America are trying to track down the boats built in the US and Canada throughout the 60s and 70s. As many as 90 Ospreys, as well as a handful of identical boats known as the SC18 (built by SmallCraft of Canada which became Glenmore Boats) were in North America at one time, but only 16 remain known. The early Ospreys will have been built in wood while the SC18s will be GRP; the boat has a distinctive 3 "chine" hull. Most will have the aft deck... www.ospreysailing.org.ukospreysailing.org.uk/noah_pics/listings/81.jpgIf you know the whereabouts of any of these boats, please contact Nick on sailnick@yahoo.com
